Brian W Matthews
Brian is based in the North East of England has been interested in the outdoors and wildlife all his life. Following university he travelled for a year and bought his first SLR, a canon EOS 300 with sigma 70-300mm lens. He now uses Canon digital cameras and lens from 20mm to 500mm. Brian loves to travel and has visited over 30 countries and photographed tigers, elephants, lemurs and leopards, Most of his photography is done outside the UK, but when he can he enjoys shooting in the UK.
Brian has been widely published in the UK and Europe in magazines and books. In 2008 and 2009 he was placed in BBC wildlife photographer of the year.
