David Norton
David is one of the younger members of the NPP and is currently in his final year studying for a PhD in organic chemistry at the University of Southampton.
David has won the British Birds Young Photographer of the year five times and has had work published in magazines such as the RSPB's Birds, Amateur Photographer and Outdoor Photography. He aims to at least reach a semi-professional level with his photography, although the main hindrance is time to produce enough work.
Through his photography he aims to highlight the beauty and delicacy of the natural world whilst constantly trying to improve the standard of pictures he takes. He believes photography is an art form, not just a means of recording, and tries to illustrate this adage in his pictures.
