John has been interested in nature and photography for over 30years. A business studies lecturer for 31 years, but after early retirement he is now able to concentrate on wildlife photography and giving talks to local clubs and societies. He is currently chairman of Ringwood Natural History Society.
Early interests in wildlife photography were concentrated on close-up work with insects and flowers, but he now covers all aspects of UK wildlife as well as landscapes. Recent visits to Cyprus have widened his horizons still further. Living on the edge of the New Forest and near the Purbeck coast provides a constant source of photographic inspiration and the main focus of his photography.
