Margaret Kilner
Margaret has been interested in natural history, particularly birdwatching, for as long as she can remember, but the interest in nature photography developed more slowly and really only dates from the mid 1990s.

She joined the NPP in October 1997 (although she attended her first Convention back in the 1960s at a fairly tender age!) and at first concentrated on bird photography, mostly on the Farne Islands and at local feeding stations in the North East of England.

More recently an interest in fungi has developed, particularly since moving to Norfolk in 2000, and she now concentrates her photography in this area.  Taking the photographs can be easier than identifying the subjects!
