Peter C. Roworth ARPS
Peter's earliest memory of photography was using the good old Brownie 127 taking family photos. He progressed from the Halina 35X, to Exaktas and then Nikons, using photography as part of his 30+ years working in nature conservation, managing nature reserves. He has always enjoyed photographing wild flowers but equally enjoys the challenge of getting a good habitat photo.

Any nature conservation organisation requires images for publicity and he has been fortunate to have had hundreds published for displays, leaflets, magazines and books.  He uses a digital camera for work simply for convenience, but still enjoy the anxious wait for the return of a box of slides and checking them on a light box. The chance opportunity of being commissioned to provide photographs for a book led to Peter and his wife publishing, through Halsgrove, a number of books depicting landscape and architecture in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire. It's nice to share images with others and it is equally good to see the work of other photographers; there is always something new to learn.
