John Bulpitt

John has been an enthusiastic amateur photographer for about 35 years.  He started by photographing sport, and this remains a major interest.  John has always had an interest in the natural world, and was encouraged to take up nature photography after meeting Richard Revels in the early 1990's.  Visits to the Galapagos and East Africa were inspirational, and after this there was no turning back.

Today, most of his wildlife photography is confined to the U.K. and he has a growing passion for insect photography. Since moving to Norfolk in 2017 he has started to photograph birds and seals on a regular basis.  Sport, travel and street photography remain important.  John became a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society in 2003, with a panel of athletics images. He is a member of the RPS Nature group and Cambridge Camera Club.  John still enters National and International salons on a regular basis.”
