Richard Price
For reasons that are a bit hazy “our house” always had a camera associated with it. I remember it being mainly used for holidays and photographing fish. As a family we used to do quite a bit of course fishing and those prize winners needed to be recorded.
Later on during my early working years a camera was used to record progress photographs of building sites and buildings in general.
It was much later around 1989 that nature photography took hold. This hobby was combined with travel which was also a passion.
In 1996 I joined the Folio along with Ian Brown and Gordon Bramham. This was by the introduction of George McCartney. I didn’t swap to digital until 1997 using the Canon range of equipment.
Since 1996 I have had many photographic trips with some very fine and knowledgable companions and I am looking forward to a few more in the years to come.
