The NPP has a large collection of prints going back to the clubs early years. Many are in black and white. We do not know what equipment was used to take these images, but upto 1949 it would likely be medium format cameras or even plate cameras.

All of the prints in the album are very small. Sometimes just 2 inchs wide. I do not know why.

 

For 1949 the photographers names are not shown in the print album.

It is notable that in the 1949 collection there are pictures taken in Europe. Someone was getting abroad.
